He is a fashion and portrait photographer.
He was born in Leytonstone, East London.
In 1960s he was contracted to be a fashion photographer for Vogue while also doing a lot of freelance work.
David is seen to have helped create the 'swinging London' of the 1960s.
In the 1990s, he dabbled in film directing.

Rankin's real name is John Rankin Waddell.
Rankin was born in 1966.
He was born in Paisley and brought up in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
He originally studied accounting at Brighton Polytechnic, and dropped out to study photography at Barnfield College Luton and then London College of Printing.
Once he had graduated, he started a magazine called 'Dazed & Confused' with a friend called Jefferson Hack and later went on to make various other magazines during his career.

George Hurrell (June 1st, 1904 - May 17th, 1992).

His photographic work was mainly Hollywood Glamour during the 1930s and 1940s.

He was born in the Walnut Hills district of Cincinnati, Ohio,

He originally studied to be a painter.

In the late 1920s, he was signed by MGM Studios as head of the portrait photography department.

In 1932 he left MGM and went on to run his own studio.

In the 1930s, he photographed every star contracted with MGM Studios and in the 1940s, photographed the stars contracted with Warner Brothers Studios and later Columbia Pictures.

Erwin Blumenfield (1897 - 1969).

Born 26th January, 1897, in Berlin.

He is best known for his fashion photography for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar in the 1940s and 1950s.

In addition to fashion photography, he produced an extensive body of celebrity portraiture, fine-art photography, drawings, and Dada collages.

He began his career as an apprentice dress maker and later opened a store specialising in ladies handbags.
He did his first double page spread in French Vogue in 1937.
In the 1950s, he was reported to be the highest paid photographer in the world.

Richard Avedon (May 15th, 1923 - October 1st, 2004).
He was born in New York City.
He was an American portrait and fashion photographer.
New York Times said that "his fashion and portrait photographs helped define America's image of style, beauty and culture for the last half-century".
He started his age in photography from aged 12.
He has done photographs for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Life, Look, Graphis and Theatre Arts Magazine.

Patrick was born 21st August 1943, near Paris.

He started taking pictures when he was 17 years old.

He discovered fashion photography through freelancing in New York in 1975.

He has worked with magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire and 20 Ans.

As well as magazines, he has done advertising campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Celine, TAG Heuer, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Lacoste, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren.

Since the late 1970s he has done covers for nearly every major fashion magazine including American, British and Paris Vogue.

Steven Meisel was born in 1954.
He is an American fashion photographer.
He studied at the High School of Art and Design and Parsons The New School for Design and majored in Fashion Illustration.
His first photography experience was Elite Model Management.
Meisel has done photos for the covers of several popular albums and singles such as two RIAA Diamond-certified albums, Madonna's 1984 album "Like a Virgin" and Mariah Carey's 1995 album Daydream, the cover of Madonna's single "Bad Girl", the limited picture disc for Madonna's UK single release of "Fever", and Mariah Carey's single "Fantasy".
He has done advertising campaigns for Versace, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga and Calvin Klein.
