Plodding On

I'm still plodding on with my Spice Of Life Crochet Along blanket. The crochet along actually finished a long time ago now, but I knew I wouldn't keep up with the schedule and that this would be a long term project for me.

I'm over half way though now. There's lots of different stitches in the first half of the blanket and then when you reach the half way mark, the stitches are repeated, though they're crocheted in different colours to those used previously.

I'm not particularly keen on the first lot of colours used in the second half of the blanket. There seems to be too many darker colours used together, not at all in keeping with the first half, but I'll reserve judgement and see how it all pans out.

I'm beginning to worry that I won't have enough yarn left. I've got very little of some colours and looking ahead, I can see that they're to be used again. I think I shall either have to buy more yarn or change the colours suggested in the pattern.

I've got lots of other projects that I want to start but I'm determined to get the things I'm working on at the moment finished first before embarking on anything new.
